Hi, I’m Luisa. Born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in Austin, TX, my artwork reflects a blend of both cultures— rooted in strong traditions, defined lines, and intricate detail. Since beginning my tattoo career in 2018, I have been deeply grateful to pursue what I am passionate about every day.

My style is firmly grounded in Chicano art and fine line traditional tattooing, with profound inspiration from artists such as Bob Roberts, Jack Rudy, and Chuco Moreno.

I specialize in black and grey and blackwork, often combining spiritual iconography, medieval and fantasy imagery, and the timeless aesthetics of traditional tattooing. My background in metalwork and ceramics informs my approach to texture, balance, and composition—always striving to create pieces that are intentional and uniquely expressive.
 

I tattoo with the talented team at Electric Ave Tattoo in North Austin by appointment only mainly, and am open for walk-ins on Wednesdays. I offer free consultations for both custom designs and flash, which I always have plenty available to choose from.
My priority is to ensure that every client feels comfortable, seen, and valued throughout their tattoo journey.
